There's a wild story in the Bible about some men who were not followers of Jesus, who were attempting to drive demons out of a man, in the name of Jesus who Paul preached. The demons spoke thru the man saying, "Jesus we know and Paul we know, but who are you?" The demon-possessed man overpowered the men and beat them terribly, until they were bleeding. (Acts 19:13-16) They were not followers of the LORD Jesus, & they did not know Him. But we do. And there is great power in the awesome and mighty Name of JESUS. The Bible says, "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4) Whatever mountains we may be facing, He is GREATER. He is ABLE to make a way where there is no way. And He hears our fervent prayers, and is working for His glory in all situations. May we continue to seek His face and a deeper relationship with Him, spending time with Him each day, as friend with friend. With God by our side, and His Spirit with in us...we are more than conquerers!
I got a funny email today that read:
"Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says, "Oh crap, She's up!"
